Nars radiant cream compact foundation review

*Insert angels singing* can we just start off with the fact that I love Nars packaging! Alright straight to the point. The foundation. I always wanted to try the Nars Sheer Glow foundation but never got around to it. The other day I saw this new foundation in Sephora and snapped it up. I'm in the lightest shade-siberia (go figure)

Consistency: so so so creamy! I tried to show you the creaminess of the product in the pictures below. This foundation just blends into the skin like butter. No intense buffing or rubbing is required.

Coverage: Light to medium. I really like the coverage of this foundation it gets all the redness out and splotchy-ness of my skin out but it won't cover any serious acne. In the pictures below you can tell that I had some breakouts but in the picture below you can see the difference.

2nd picture is just foundation with some eye makeup. No extra concealer was used.
btw: photos were taken in two different days but blemishes were still there don't worry. P.s. In the top photo I had bumble and bumble surf spray in my hair. What do you think of the texture?

Longevity: I was extremely surprised and pleased. I have a combination skin and it lasted a good 6 hours before I had to blot and I was in serious heat and humidity all day. It faded nicely, no splotches on my face.

Application: I found that my favorite way to apply this particular foundation was with a sponge, pressing it into the skin was just the best finish. But to each his own

You get 12 grams of product in the pan. The only thing I have to compare it to is MAC msf natural which has 10 grams, so I don't know how long this product is going to last me yet.

A downside is that you have to buy the foundation compact separately, but frankly this way it has double protection from drying out.

If you have specific question that you want to ask me about this foundation just write in the comments below and I will answer them as soon as possible! Lots of love...

Sephora haul

Hello Everybody! Sorry for being mia lately but I've been moving into my dorm and getting college things sorted out recently. Enough of that-on to the haul!

Nars radiant cream compact foundation- I'm saving this for a separate blogpost with before/after shots, so be on the lookout for that.(follow our blog hint hint hehe)

Caudalie Divine Legs- Love this stuff. So easy. Just whip it out rub into your legs and they don't look as pasty as they were. Their are no streaks no weird smell, plus it washes off at the end of the day with some body wash. It truly is a great quick fix.

Bumble and Bumble surf spray- I'm still playing around with this product and I'm not so sure about, but I'll let you know later. Btw I got the smallest size the had to try it out.

Bumble and Bumble straight blow dry-again haven't used this yet. Again I got the cute travel size to test.

Living proof style extender- this was my 300 points perk and I have heard some great things about this product, can't wait to try it out.

Glamglow youth mud tingling&exfoliating mask- this seems to be a cult product so I will do a separate review on this

Urban Decay deslick setting spray- again haven't tried it yet since I was too excited to get this blog post up as soon as I came back from sephora

Nars Orgasm and Laguna- just so so beautiful. Totally worth the hype. Looks amazing on my pale skin. I was wearing this duo when my roommate asked me what was on my cheeks because they looked glowing.

That's a wrap! Hope you enjoyed, I have a lot of post ideas and as always if you have any questions or requests don't be shy to ask in the comments below!

Kora Organics Skincare review

I was so excited to try this new skincare line from Miranda Kerr. Most of the products that I was using before were running out so I decided to try this. What pushed me to change my skincare routine to this was the fact that is was organic.Recently I have been very into organic products and I have changed my eating habits as well, but that is a separate post if you want to hear about trying out vegan food.

Anyway, my mother would always say be careful of what you put on your skin because it soaks up everything. She always insisted that I get organic products but i dismissed them and went for heavy chemicals because I thought they would work better. Finally, I began to listen to her.

Before this my skin went crazy on me. Due to climate change, hormones and extra stress because of college my skin looked horrible. Horrible. It never looked so bad.

During the first couple of weeks I felt that my skin was almost rejecting it completely. It felt gross. I thought my skin just got more oily and sticky and I was very upset. But after a week or so it got used to it and everything changed.Overall my skin became less oily and accustomed to the organic range.
These four products were the only things I used for the past 2,5 weeks to really see how they worked. No acne treatments or masks, just what is pictured.

Now looking at my skin in the mirror my acne has cleared up mostly, my skin is not as sensitive as it was, it feels soft, there is no flakiness and in general it looks healthier. I'm not going to say that my skin is glowing angelically and perfect. But I believe these products really do work. I will repurchase and recommend to them to you. Plus the packaging is beautiful and it has positive, inspirational words on the back to brighten your day. Miranda Kerr did a excellent job thinking out every detail of this line.

Foaming Cleanser-I felt that it is best applied onto dry skin then it goes all white and creamy and gets gunk off better.

Energising Citrus Mist- very bergamot tea smell, not a life changing product but works well in conjunction will the line.

Purifying Day and Night Cream-LESS IS MORE! If you use to much your skin feels sticky, but if you use just right it feels amazing!

Luxurious Rosehip Oil- This is my favorite product, it is freakin amazing! I use this at night or when I'm not going to wear makeup. I layer it under my Kora moisturizer and it makes my skin baby soft!

Hope you enjoyed this post!

P.S I bought all the products off the official Kora website and paid for everything myself.
